St. Charles Health System is hiring a Medical Assistant in Redmond, OR to support daily patient flow and assist physicians. You will gather information for health assessments, triage, and maintain patient records during visits.

The role requires basic ICD-10 knowledge, familiarity with PMIS, and a commitment to confidentiality and patient care standards. Preferred graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of ICD-10 and coding conventions.
• Experience with physician office documentation standards and medical practice management systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Two years of Medical Assisting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for physician assessment.
• Record and maintain patient data in medical charts.
• Assist physician with phone requests from patients and other medical professionals.
• Perform ancillary and/or surgical procedures as requested by the physician (excludes IV medication).
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory.
