Pinnacle Treatment Centers in California is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the intake team, perform clinical and administrative duties, observe lab specimens, record vital signs, and coordinate patient flow with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current MA or EMT certificate from accredited program.
• Experience as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting.
• Must maintain CE credits as required.
• Ability to administer medications; travel up to 5% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the intake team to see patients promptly.
• Observe urine samples for drug screens and package for lab testing.
• Obtain vital signs and report to nurses.
• Draw and collect blood samples for testing.
• Coordinate referrals and physician/counselor appointments.
• Assist with cash handling and daily balancing if needed.
• Maintain medical records in EHR and other systems.
• Support purchasing and stocking of medical supplies.
