Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant to support intake, collect samples, obtain vital signs, and coordinate with nurses. You will handle lab samples, documentation in the EHR, appointments, and referrals, with emphasis on accurate records and patient care.

Requirements include a minimum High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Medical Assistant or EMT certificate. CPR certification is preferred, and localized travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a current medical assistant certificate or EMT certificate from an accredited program.
• Experience as a medical assistant and ability to administer medications are required.

Responsibilities

• Work with intake to ensure patients are seen promptly.
• Obtain vital signs and collect lab samples as needed.
• Document and maintain patient records in the EHR system.
