Qualifications

• Clinic/medical office experience preferred.
• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Basic medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists practitioner and RN with basic administrative, clerical and technical supportive services and procedures under physician supervision.
• Cross-trains for front office functions and fills in as needed.
• Maintains and meets expectations on time for competencies, licenses, certifications and education requirements.
• Maintains confidentiality of staff, patient and administrative information.
• Maintains lab and treatment rooms in an orderly manner.
• Observes clinic protocols and procedures as written.
• Performs waived lab tests and prepares samples for shipment to hospital lab.
• Prepares patient for provider exam and records vital signs and measurements.
• Takes patient vital signs, height and weight measurements and records results.
