Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to administer and coordinate medical services while ensuring a positive patient experience. You will perform routine administrative and clinical duties in the facility.

Role includes patient intake, urine drug screening, vital signs, lab coordination, and records management. Competitive $18-$21/hr pay with 18 days PTO and full benefits package. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Medical Assistant certificate and/or transcripts required.
• Experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR, First Aid and BLS certifications within 6 months (state-specific rules apply).

Responsibilities

• Works on intake to ensure patients are seen promptly.
• Observe urine samples for drug screens and coordinate lab processing.
• Obtain vital signs and report findings to the nurse.
• Schedule physician visits, labs, and referrals for follow-up care.
• Maintain and update medical records and documentation.
• Assist with purchasing and ordering medical supplies.
• Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and coordinate outside services.
• Attend team meetings and complete training courses timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
