Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic is preferred.
• Broad administrative and technical skills in healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Receives patient from waiting room and escorts to exam room.
• Records intake information in the patient chart and adheres to documentation requirements.
• Records critical lab values and reports to the provider.
• Prepares patient and provider with setup and cleanup of procedures.
• Observes universal precautions and aseptic techniques.
• Assists with patient education in conjunction with the provider.
• Inventories exam rooms and restocks supplies.
• Assists with daily cleaning of exam rooms and clinic areas.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
