Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program (preferred).
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and support staff in patient care under supervision.
• Collect and record intake information in the medical record; ensure proper documentation.
• Record vital signs, clinical data, and pertinent information; report to provider as needed.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms; assist with procedures and instrument setup/cleanup.
• Adhere to universal precautions and use proper infection control practices.
• Assist with patient education and explain care plans under provider direction.
• Maintain supply levels; restock exam rooms and clinic stations.
• Perform general administrative duties and documentation tasks as needed.
