VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs across clinic and satellite sites. You will handle patient flow, room preparation, and documentation in the EHR and PMS systems.

The role emphasizes accurate vital signs, medication documentation, and timely referrals. Travel to satellite offices as needed is required; compensation is detailed and aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, required.
• 0-1 year related work experience, required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire, required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner, required.
• Basic proficiency in computer use, required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the examination room; escorts patient in; cleans room after visit.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate patient scheduling.
• Prepares information needed for patient visit and records in EHR.
• Documents allergies and medications accurately in EHR.
• Enter orders in PMS and EHR; provide referrals or consults as needed.
