Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a provider at an ambulatory site, facilitating visits and procedures while performing routine labs and referrals. You will ensure smooth patient flow, prepare rooms, and record care in the EPIC EMR.

Ideal candidates will have completed a recognized MA program or HS diploma with MA experience, and will obtain MA certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Collaborate effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Graduate MA program or HS diploma with MA experience within 3 years.
• Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas, including cleaning and stocking.
• Room patients and maintain efficient provider flow.
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system.
• Perform Point of Care Testing per protocols.
• Process referrals and medication refills.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff.
