Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the provider in an ambulatory health care site. You'll assist with patient visits, perform routine laboratory tests, manage documentation using the EPIC EMR system, and ensure a smooth patient flow while maintaining excellent relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a Medical Assistant program or a high school diploma plus 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Preparation of exam rooms and treatment areas, including cleaning and stocking supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with patient visit facilitation and procedures.
• Obtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection.
• Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system.
