Dignity Health Medical Foundation, a California nonprofit with care centers across the state, seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and ensure efficient patient flow. You will prepare patients, assist with exams, and help manage records in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Preferred candidates have a Medical Assistant program and BLS certification, with strong organizational and patient communication skills to support high-quality care.

Formación

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Formal Medical Assistant program completion required (per state/division requirements).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding procedures, and related pharmacology required.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and measure vital signs.
• Maintain a sterile, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Manage medical records, including EMR data entry and chart documentation.
• Communicate patient concerns to physicians/advanced providers.
• Coordinate with pharmacies and insurers for medication authorizations.
