Dignity Health Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient flow, prepare charts, and ensure accurate medical records. You will assist with examinations, take vital signs, and help coordinate with providers in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires a completed MA program, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding. BLS certification is mandatory and familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Formal Medical Assistant program completion required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization and customer service skills required.
• Medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding knowledge, and pharmacology for MA scope required.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and measure vital signs.
• Maintain sterile, organized clinical environment.
• Manage medical records, EMR input and chart documentation.
• Communicate patient concerns to physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Coordinate with pharmacies and insurance for medication authorizations.
