Dignity Health Medical Foundation seeks a Medical Assistant to keep patient flow smooth and support the clinical team. You will proactively prepare patient charts and ensure up-to-date information for patients seen in the facility.

Success comes from enthusiasm, efficiency, and genuine empathy for patients, with a focus on excellent service and teamwork in a busy outpatient setting.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or military training equivalent to an MA program.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

• Prepare patient charts and ensure all information is up-to-date for those seen in the facility.
• Lead on proactively preparing charts and coordinating with the clinical team.
• Provide empathetic, respectful patient interactions and strong customer service.
• Maintain daily operations by following scripted greetings and closing conversations with patients.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Assistant, you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team.
Every day, you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. You can expect to have multiple patients daily depending on the number of physicians are on-site.
Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.

• Consistently respectful, concerned, and shows empathy.
• Uses scripted greeting. 'Thank you for choosing ________________________________this is (your name) how can I help you'
• Uses scripted closing at every interaction. 'Is there anything else I can do for you' Over the phone and as patients leave the clinic.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Graduate or High School GED.
• Satisfactory completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or military training that is equivalent to an accredited Medical Assistant program
• BLS-American Heart Association

Preferred

• Six (6) months experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Assistant
