Dignity Health Medical Foundation, established in California, seeks a Medical Assistant to support patients and clinicians, helping streamline clinic operations and patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, completed MA training, BLS certification, and strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and phamacology relevant to MA scope. Prior outpatient experience is preferred.
As our Medical Assistant (MA), you will help patients and our healthcare team streamline clinic operations and patient care so they can access efficient and top-quality medical services. This is an SEIU-UHW represented position.
Every day you will prepare comprehensive patient charts, ensuring all medical records are accurate and current. You will be expected to support multiple patients daily, facilitating doctor visits and clinic flow in a fast-paced medical environment.
