Job summary

Kennedy Medical Group, Practice, PC in Voorhees, NJ, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, manage patient flow, and perform diagnostic procedures such as EKGs and venipuncture. The role requires compliance with HIPAA and strong organizational skills.

You will assist in exams, document vital signs, and coordinate supplies to ensure smooth daily operations within a clinical office setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and ensures proper identification.
• Performs and documents vital signs, clinical care quality measures and medical history information.
• Assists physicians with examinations and various diagnostic procedures, including EKG and venipuncture.
• Maintains HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Orders clinical supplies to maintain inventory.
