Kennedy Medical Group, Practice, PC is seeking a Medical Assistant in New Jersey to support physicians in patient assessments and treatments. You will manage patient flow, perform vital signs, assist with EKGs, injections and phlebotomy, and help maintain accuracy in documentation and supplies.

The role emphasizes adherence to HIPAA, medical terminology knowledge, and strong communication to ensure patient satisfaction and efficient office operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize practices and documentation methods in health information.
• CMA - Certified Medical Assistant within 180 days (if applicable in NJ)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Manage patient flow and ensure proper identification and rooming.
• Document vital signs, medical history, and medications.
• Assist with EKGs, venipuncture/injections when required.
• Maintain supplies and support HIPAA-compliant operations.
