Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or active CMA/RMA status through Penn State Health approved agencies required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtainable within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health care services, obtain specimens and conduct routine lab studies.
• Coordinate patient flow, scheduling appointments and manage phone messages.
• Serve as a trained preceptor for new medical assistant orientation and for instruction of medical assistant students.
