Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Cancer Institute Practice Site. You will assist with health care services, obtain specimens, and conduct routine lab studies while supporting patient flow and scheduling.

This full-time, day-shift role requires a high school diploma, eligibility for CMA/RMA certification within 90 days, and BLS certification within 6 months. Outpatient experience is preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet current eligibility to sit for the exam with attainment of certification or registration through one of the Penn State Health approved agencies for Medical Assistants within 90-days of employment date; or current active status as a CMA or RMA through one of the Penn State Health approved agencies for Medical Assistant certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain BLS Certification within 6 months of employment date.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance with various health care services.
• Obtain specimens and conduct routine lab studies of specimens.
• Assist with administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow and scheduling appointments and phone messages.
