Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc. in Worcester, MA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our MAT/OTP team. You will measure vital signs, perform patient assessments, and assist with coordination prior to appointments to support clinicians.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Medical Assistant Certificate or Degree required.
  • At least 1 year CMA experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and record vital signs and provide patient assessments.
  • Identify, evaluate, and respond to changes in patient condition.
  • Perform required drug testing and prepare MassPat PMP reports.
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely per regulations.
  • Schedule appointments with providers.

What You Will Do:
  • Measure and record vital signs and provide patient assessments prior to medical appointments.
  • Identify, evaluate, and respond to changes in patient condition, including laboratory reports and findings.
  • Perform required drug testing per regulations and prepare MassPat (PMP) reports for provider review.
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Schedule individuals' appointments with providers.
Who You Are:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Medical Assistant Certificate or Degree required.
  • At least one year of experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence in working with diverse populations.

Pay Range: $21.50-$24.50
