Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare in Cypress, Texas is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations. You will assist providers, manage vitals, venipuncture, injections, and basic lab work while ensuring a welcoming patient experience.

No MA certification is required upfront; two weeks of paid hands-on training will get you started and build confidence in our clinic processes, workflows, and patient care standards. Eligible for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required; MA certification preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to travel between assigned clinics and learn clinic processes.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document manual vital signs.
  • Perform venipuncture and injections as directed by providers.
  • Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
  • Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
  • Support front desk operations as needed.
  • Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
  • Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.

No MA Certification Required-We'll help you get started! We provide two full weeks of paid, hands-on training to help you learn our clinic processes, develop your skills, and build confidence in your role. Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document manual vital signs.
  • Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
  • Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
  • Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
  • Support front desk operations as needed.
  • Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
  • Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.
Qualifications
  • Physical copy of a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 documented externship hours.
  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not required.
  • Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
Clinic operating hours:
  • Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Saturday Availability: Must be available to work 2 to 3 Saturdays per month.

Employees are expected to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled shift and record all time worked.
