Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare in Southlake, Texas is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations. This part-time role involves assisting providers, taking vital signs, venipuncture, injections, specimen handling, and basic lab tasks.

No MA certification is required; we offer two weeks of paid training and ongoing learning. You’ll travel between clinics as needed and join a collaborative, patient-focused team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 externship hours.
  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not required.
  • Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

We provide two full weeks of paid, hands-on training to help you learn our clinic processes, develop your skills, and build confidence in your role. Bring your curiosity, dependability, and enthusiasm, and we’ll support you as you learn and grow!

  • Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 documented externship hours.
  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not required.
  • Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

Clinic operating hours:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Part-Time Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays clinic start time-3pm/3:30pm

Saturday Availability: Must be available to work 2-3Saturdays per month. Off every 5th Saturday, if you work Saturday, you will be off Tuesday that week

Employees are expected to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled shift and record all time worked.
