Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare in Vintage Park, Houston, Texas is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant for a part-time onsite role. You will support providers, help patients, and assist with daily clinic operations while learning new skills.

No MA certification required—we’ll help you get started with two weeks of paid training. You’ll travel between clinics, document vitals, perform venipuncture and injections, and contribute to a patient‑focused team focused on care and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months of medical experience or 180 externship hours.
• Venipuncture and injections experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel between clinics within the region.
• Background check successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
• Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
• Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
• Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Physical copy of a high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 documented externship hours.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Ability to adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Clinic operating hours:

• Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
  Up to 20 hours weekly

Saturday Availability: Must be available to work 2-3 Saturdays per month.

Employees are expected to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled shift and record all time worked.
