Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant to support patient care in our Southlake clinics. This part-time role offers hands-on training, patient greeting, and collaboration with providers to ensure smooth daily operations.

You'll assist with vital signs, venipuncture, injections, and basic lab tasks while traveling between assigned clinics. No MA certification is required upfront; we will help you get started, with two weeks of paid training and scrubs provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 externship hours.
• MA Certification preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
• Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
• Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
• Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Physical copy of a high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 documented externship hours.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Ability to adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Clinic operating hours:

• Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Part-Time Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays clinic start time-3pm/3:30pm

Saturday Availability: Must be available to work 2-3Saturdays per month. Off every 5th Saturday, if you work Saturday, you will be off Tuesday that week

Employees are expected to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled shift and record all time worked.
