Job summary

SynergenX & Low T Center in Chattanooga, TN is hiring Medical Assistants who are friendly, energetic, and eager to help patients feel their best. You’ll work with providers in a fast-paced clinic focused on hormone therapy, weight management, and wellness.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, drawing blood, injections, assisting with patient care, lab prep, and front desk support. No certification yet? training provided; weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of relevant medical experience or 180-hour externship.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Flexible availability including some evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Taking manual patient vitals.
• Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture.
• Administering IM and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider.
• Assisting providers with patient care and procedures.
• Running in-house labs and preparing outside lab samples.
• Maintaining lab equipment and quality-control documentation.
• Helping with inventory, ordering, and supplies.
• Supporting front desk operations when needed.
• Building positive relationships with patients and teammates.
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic.

What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you'll help keep the clinic running smoothly while creating a great patient experience.

What You Need

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR completion of a 180-hour externship
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Flexible availability, including some evenings and Saturdays
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Don't have your certification yet? That's okay! We provide two full weeks of paid training to help you learn our processes and succeed in the role.

Clinic Hours

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Will have a weekday off if scheduled a Saturday
