Job summary

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Western Massachusetts, Inc. in Williamsburg, MA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

The role collaborates with nurses and providers and offers patient-centered care in a small, collaborative team. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of MA experience, holds a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), BLS certification, and CMA or equivalent credentials.

Qualifications

• What candidates must have: on-site medical assisting experience or related field.
• Certification (BLS) preferred; CMA or equivalent certification advantageous.
• Ability to take vital signs, document data, and assist providers.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, weight, height, and document in the medical record.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information and schedule visits.
• Explain procedures and instructions; educate patients with prepared materials.
• Collect specimens and assist with phlebotomy when competent.
