Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Salem, MA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support an internal medicine practice at 331 Highland Ave. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Requires completion of a Medical Assistant program; CMA preferred and 1–2 years of MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Formal Medical Assistant program completion required
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinic
• MA with 1–2 years of direct experience preferred or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, document patient information, and manage patient flow
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment, interview patients, and record measurements
• Explain procedures and medications to patients and provide educational materials
• Handle office duties and insurance forms, act as a liaison with other departments
• Collect and log specimens, perform phlebotomy if competent, manage inventory
• Maintain immunizations and administer vaccines when certified or experienced
• Support quality initiatives and patient identifiers and hand hygiene programs
