Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent (or an Associate's in Medical Assisting), 1–2 years of MA experience, and eligibility for BLS and CMA certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required, or Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Licenses: BLS preferred; CMA certification preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years of direct medical assistant or medical field work required; 3+ years vaccine experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow.
• Interact with patients to ensure comfort and address concerns; collaborate with physicians and nursing staff.
• Assist with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and prepare them for testing; perform phlebotomy if competent.
