Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State seeks a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. The role involves patient intake, charting, and coordinating labs and referrals to ensure efficient flow and excellent care.

Qualified candidates must graduate from an approved MA program with MA-C licensure or interim certification within 90 days, and BLS/CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR certification required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C). The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

Key Duties:

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model

Qualifications:
