Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is recruiting for a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support primary care teams. The role involves patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Starting wage is $24.09 per hour. The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule in a fast-paced outpatient clinic, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days)
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days)
• Ambulatory care experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• Fast-paced outpatient setting
• May require travel to other clinic locations

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C). The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
