Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state is seeking a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) to support providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will assist with patient intake, vital signs, procedures, and referrals to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved MA program, holds MA-C licensure (or interim with certification within 90 days), and has BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days.
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C)

The Medical Assistant- Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

Key Duties

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model
