Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support providers in delivering high-quality primary care. The role includes patient intake, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient flow and excellent care.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting with exams and charting, administering medications, coordinating labs and specialty care, and delivering compassionate customer service following the AIDET model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Fast-paced outpatient setting; may require travel to other clinic locations.

We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C)

The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.
