Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state seeks a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support providers in delivering patient-centered primary care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vitals, exams support, administering medications and immunizations, coordinating labs and referrals, and delivering friendly customer service using the AIDET model; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.

Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C)

The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.

Key Duties:

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs

• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model
