Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Registered medical assistant apprenticeship or equivalent training accepted.
• Has completed two years of medical training in US Armed Forces, or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Minimum one year of medical assistant experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Within 30 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Within 6 months of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Support internal medicine clinic operations and patient flow.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants, or
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
• Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or
• Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration, or
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months of healthcare experience.
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
