Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• National Medical Assistant Certification preferred upon hire.
• 6 months healthcare experience and 6 months MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under delegation of licensed practitioners and adapt to multiple clinics and specialties.
• Handle all aspects of patient care within established policies and procedures, delivering professional service across locations.

Education

Graduate of accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training

Graduate of registered medical assistant apprenticeship program

Two years of medical training in US Armed Forces

Minimum one year of medical assistant work experience (vitals, injections, med administration)

Washington Medical Assistant Certification

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days

National Medical Assistant Certification

6 months healthcare experience

6 months Medical Assistant experience

• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
