The role involves taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and assisting with exams in a fast-paced primary care setting. The MA will ensure compliance with OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations, coordinate patient flow, collect specimens, and support the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year MA, CNA, PCA, STNA, or SEH Clinical Care Tech experience.
• MA program with hands-on externship completed.
• SEP Internship completed.
• EMT certification completed.
• Health or Biological Sciences degree with hands-on clinical patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vitals.
• Prepare patients for the exam and assist providers.
• Assist with examinations and nursing procedures.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform basic tests.
• Provide instructions to patients and ensure chart accuracy.
• Maintain supplies and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA.
