Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians in Crestview Hills, KY seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers, taking vital signs, interviewing patients, and documenting in patient charts. You will assist during exams and ensure compliance with OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations to support smooth clinic operations.

Minimum education is a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Must have one of the listed MA/clinical experience paths
• Preferred credentials: CCMA, CMA, RMA, ARMA or EMT
• Knowledge of MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and take vital signs
• Document patient history and maintain accurate charts
• Assist providers during examinations and prepare for exams
• Collect lab specimens and administer medications as directed
• Ensure OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA compliance and proper charting
• Handle front-line patient communications and referrals
