Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clerical, clinical and business functions under supervision. You will perform pre-visit work, vital signs collection, medication reconciliation and assist providers with exams, while maintaining a clean, organized work environment across Monadnock Seacoast locations.

Responsibilities include both clinical duties and front-office tasks, with a focus on patient safety, confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or enrollment in a program with knowledge testing and BLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work, obtaining vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assisting providers with examinations or procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain clean exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Respond to patient portal messages on the same day.
• Administer vaccines, complete prescriptions, and schedule tests or follow-ups as needed.
• Provide front-desk duties as needed: check-in/out, scheduling, phones, and patient records.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Core Physicians policies and federal regulations.
