Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification/registration required or within 6 months of hire, or credentialed through a training program with testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit work, obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and assist providers with exams.
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization; ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Respond to patient portal messages the same day.
• Complete pre-visit work, close gaps in care, administer vaccines, and renew prescriptions.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing; place follow-up calls to patients after procedures.
