Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a skilled Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic. You will prepare patients for visits, support for clerical tasks, and assist clinicians with procedures, under provider supervision.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Sign on available for qualified candidates.
• Perform medical assistant procedures after competency within MA scope of work, under supervision of a provider and PHS policy.
• Assist with procedures as determined by provider and participate in care team to meet clinic needs.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and support clerical functions including scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with EMR.
