Location Address:1202 Highway 60 West Bldg D Socorro, NM 87801-3914Compensation Pay Range:Minimum Offer $18.33 Maximum Offer $30.24Summary:Provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting the provider with treatments and procedures. Performs procedures with completed and documented competency, within organizations MA scope of work, PHS policy and under the supervision of a provider. Administers approved medications under the order and supervision of the provider. Provides support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations. Performs activities to maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment. Customer Service and Caring Practices: *Uses cares principles as well as good listening, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Teamwork: *Participates on interdisciplinary team to meet patient care and clinic operation needs. Visit Navigation: *Prepares patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, collecting appropriate and accurate data, and providing all aspects of primary support to the provider Message Management/Test Result Notification: *Responsible for taking patient calls and initiating Telephone Encounter(s) for the providers and care team. Communication: *Communicates pertinent patient data to provider, keeping them informed of issues and concerns regarding patients or the environment Equipment and Procedures: *May serve as a point of care trainer within the clinic setting *Uses equipment and performs patient care procedures in a safe, competent manner according to defined standards of practice Quality Improvement: *Works collaboratively with the care team to meet process improvement goals and clinical quality metrics Customer Service and Caring Practices: *Applies customer service principles as well as good listening, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
