Job summary

Endeavor Health in Lake Bluff, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. This position can be full-time or part-time, with 32 hours weekly. Rotating between 7am and 6pm and some weekends will be required to support clinic operations.

CPR certification is required; completion of a medical assisting program is preferred. On-the-job training is provided, and opportunities for growth are available within Endeavor Health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification required; Medical Assistant certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.

Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.

Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
