Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Internal Medicine practice. The role involves greeting patients, taking vitals, and assisting with front desk duties in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and 1 year of medical office experience preferred. Medical assisting program graduates are welcome but not required.

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Medical Assistant (MA) - Internal Medicine

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant
• Location: Skokie, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Rotating hours Monday-Tuesday 8am-7pm, Wednesday 7am-5pm, Thursday 7am-7pm, Friday 8am-5pm, rotating Saturdays 8am-2pm
• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs

What you will do:

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: N/A
