Job summary

Endeavor Health in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (20 hours) to support front desk duties and basic clinical tasks at a busy ambulatory site.

You will greet patients, record vitals, document reasons for visits, and assist with front office operations. CPR is required; HS diploma or equivalent is needed; MA certification is preferred but not necessary.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; accredited MA program preferred.
• Certification: CPR certification required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience: One year in a medical office or related field preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Medical Assistant (MA)

Position Highlights:

• Location: Des Plaines, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Part Time (20 hours)
• Hours: Monday and Friday 7AM- 5PM, Tuesday-Thursday 7AM to 6PM, rotating Saturdays 7AM-1PM
• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department needs
