Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians. You will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, and aiding in patient care.

The role includes administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and point-of-care tests, triaging calls and messages, and assisting with check-out duties. Day one benefits and a supportive team culture are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital signs.
• Administer injections and medications as directed.
• Perform EKGs and other point-of-care testing and treatments.
• Triage phone calls and electronic messages.
• Assist with check-out duties and promote teamwork within the healthcare team.
