St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physician practices by rooming patients, taking vital signs, administering medications and injections, and performing EKGs and point-of-care tests.

Under the supervision of physicians and the practice manager, you will triage calls and messages, assist with check-out duties, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare team focused on high-quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous medical assistant experience in vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations.

Aufgaben

• Performs clinical duties in physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians.
• Rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and other point of care testing and treatments, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, and performing check out duties.
• Promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
