Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Medical Assistant (Non-Certified) for a variable-shift, PRN/float pool position in Albuquerque, NM. You will support a clinic-based care team led by physicians and/or advanced practice providers while delivering patient care and performing delegated administrative tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and MS Office knowledge, and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
