Job summary

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) Float to join our FCHC Provider Based Clinics team. You will document patient encounters, escort patients to exam rooms, record vitals, and assist with exams, procedures, and dressing changes.

You will also handle patient phone calls and communicate with other facilities on behalf of patients, contributing to quality care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Previous experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software is required.
• Prior experience in a provider office setting is preferred.
• Strong multitasking skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters as directed by the provider.
• Escort/assist patients to rooms.
• Take and record patient vitals.
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures.
• Assist with wound and incision dressing changes.
• Take patient phone calls and communicate with other healthcare facilities.
