Job summary

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) Float to support our FCHC Provider Based Clinics. In this role, you will document patient encounters, escort patients to exam rooms, take and record vital signs, and prepare for and assist with exams, procedures, and wound/incision dressing changes.

You will also handle patient phone calls and communicate with other offices and facilities on behalf of the patient.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software is required.
• Prior experience in a provider office setting is preferred.
• Strong multitasking skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Department: FCHC Provider Based Clinics Status Hours: Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly Shift: 1st shift

Job Summary:

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) Float to join our FCHC Provider Based Clinics team. In this role, you will assist in providing exceptional patient care by documenting patient encounters, escorting patients to exam rooms, taking and recording vital signs, and preparing for and assisting with exams, procedures, and wound/incision dressing changes. You will also handle patient phone calls and communicate with other offices and facilities on behalf of the patient.
