Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with one of the listed MA pathways.
• CMA, RMA or CCMA licensure preferred for employment eligibility.
• 1 year of relevant healthcare experience or MA program externship may satisfy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs visit chart preparation based on daily appointments and reports in the medical record.
• Rooms patients for provider visits with documented criteria and vital signs.
• Obtains and documents measurements such as vital signs, height, weight, and head circumference.
• Conducts hearing, vision, respiratory and ECG testing as part of visits.
• Administers medications and immunizations as appropriate.
• Processes prescription refills and prior authorizations per guidelines.
• Manages clinical supplies and maintains stock and labeling.
