Job Summary
Provides daily support with problem solving and resource allocation, clarifying root causes and driving cross-functional problem solving in the team as a whole. Responsible for cost-effective utilization of employees and other resources while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and satisfaction. Oversees and leads activities of non-licensed clinical staff.

Essential Functions

1. Proficient in MDI and daily improvement; ensures employee conformance to standard work and daily lead metrics. Responsible for audits and collaborative reviews.
2. Provides schedule management to ensure patients see the right provider at the right time. Maintains patient flow.
3. Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Assigns duties and examines work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Supports business metrics for the practice.
4. Assists practice leader with monitoring of time, attendance, and payroll for staff. Notifies of staffing shortages and assists with coverage.
5. Performs first-level employee relations to resolve issues and maintain employee schedules. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances with assistance from the practice leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or GED.
• Successful completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program.
• 3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working as a medical assistant and using EPIC.
• EPIC SuperUser experience is preferred.
• Certifications such as NCMA, CMA, CCMA, NRCMA, RMA, and BLS are required upon hire.
